Hello, welcome to my FMP! 
Here I will showcase the whole of my project, from start to finish. Above you can see my final product. Demonstrated is the patrol mechanic, seen when the NPC (red) initially moves down; to the wall. After this, as the player (white) was moving the NPC heard this, and begins to move to the destination of this sound. Here the NPC catches sight of the player, beginning to chase the player directly. And as that sight is lost, the NPC moves to the last known position of the player.
